Who We Are

Pursglove Performing Arts is a new theatre company, ran entirely by students. Based at Prior Pursglove College, at Both the Priory Campus, Guisborough and at South Park, Normanby. We are all studying Performing Arts, which involves many aspects of the theatre industry. Not only do we act, dance, and sing (some better than others!) We actually put on our own productions. Within the group we have directors, producers, and designers that ensure that performance will run smoothly. Also a marketing team, who are the ones making sure you know about this, and education commitee who make sure all the content is appropriate for the target audience of the production.

What We Aim To Do

Pursglove Performing Arts group or P.P.A. aim to be informative, explorational, educational and most importantly of all exciting! The first production we are aiming to put on in mid-December is called "The Prince and The Demons" and is a traditional folk tale from India. Based on the traditional arts of storytelling the play is aimed at local school children to give them a widened multi-cultural background. We also hope (time and budget allowing) to open the play to the public for a one off performance! So stay tuned for information on that as the web-site is continually updated!!
